Regé-Jean Page refined his skills at top drama school Identity School of Acting. His training included screen acting, audition technique, text & performance, radio plays & audiobooks, Stanislavski, Meisner, monologues, improvisation, and voice. Regé was a high performer in his text & performance course, which focused on working intensively on scenes from contemporary texts, helping him land his role in the Netflix period drama “Bridgerton”.

Page’s acting journey commenced in 2001 with his portrayal of Tanaka in the television series “Gimme 6.” Following this, he made guest appearances in various British television series such as “Casualty,” “Holby City,” “Fresh Meat,” and “Waterloo Road.” Transitioning to the stage, Page took on roles in theater productions including “The History Boys” in 2013 and “The Merchant of Venice” in 2015.

In 2016, Page made his American production debut as Chicken George in the History Channel miniseries “Roots,” a remake of the 1977 miniseries based on Alex Haley’s novel. He also filmed an unaired pilot episode for ABC’s “Spark” the same year.

The following year, Page secured a supporting role in the Shondaland-produced legal drama “For the People,” which ran for two seasons. He also had minor roles in films such as “Mortal Engines” (2018) and “Sylvie’s Love” (2020).

In 2019, Page landed one of the lead roles in the first series of the Netflix period drama “Bridgerton,” based on the Regency romance novel. The show received critical acclaim, earning Page an NAACP Image Award and a nomination for a Primetime Emmy. Despite being offered to return for the second series, Page opted to explore other opportunities outside the show.

In 2022, Page appeared in Netflix’s film “The Gray Man” and became the face of Armani Code. He also starred in the fantasy film “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” in 2023.
